The day started with the team exploring the shoreline just a few blocks from the hotel. We also got our first look at the job site. A remarkable amount of work has already been done in just a few short months. The new building has taken shape and we will be continuing the transformation. The day ended with church services at the work site and dinner at the home of Pastor Leonardo. Everyone is well and sends their greetings to family & friends at home!

The team met at FCF before the sun came up and landed in a very sunny and very hot & humid Santo Domingo by early afternoon. Slow check-in at the airport didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the team who have been very patient and who have embraced every experience with excitement. After checking in at the Acuariam (Aquarium)Hotel, there was time to rest and have dinner and everyone was off to bed.
