The team left FCF Friday, Feb 25 at 3pm. The windy conditions caused a downed tree that needed to be removed from the roadway which caused traffic delays. We arrived at Washington Reagan to discover all flights prior to ours had been cancelled. After a short flight to Miami and a longer overnight flight, we arrived in Lima at 5:30 am on Saturday. We were met by Pastor Victor who came from Caraz to discuss the new project we’ll be starting in September. We said goodbye to Pastor Victor and boarded our last flight to Iquitos at 11:30 am. Arriving in Iquitos, we were greeted at the airport by missionaries Steve & Terri Ford. We were taking to the hotel and the day ended with dinner followed by an orientation of the week’s work
